Lavender Simple Syrup Recipe

  1. Pour sugar and the contents of lavender packet into a medium size saucepan.

  2. Add two (2) cups of water.

  3. Bring it to a boil until the sugar fully dissolves.

  4. Remove it from heat and let it steep in pan for 20-30 minutes. If I have time and don’t need to use the syrup right away, I leave it in the pan longer. It creates a more robust flavor and color!

  5. Strain out the lavender buds and transfer the syrup into a clean glass jar. A mason jar or oil decanter works great!

  6. Store the syrup at room temperature (up to 1 week) or in the refrigerator for up to a month.

  7. Enjoy!
